Allen, Arden and Buble Join Olympic Running Team

Better than a Platinum Record!  Manager Bruce Allen, and clients Michael Bublé and Jann Arden will each be carrying the Olympic Torch as it winds its way through the host city of Vancouver.

It’s a once in a lifetime gig as they become 3 of the 12,000 torchbearers who have proudly carried the flame across the country as it makes its way to its final destination – the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver this Friday, February 12.

Bruce Allen will carry the Torch on February 10th at 7:14:34pm PST on 22nd Street in West Vancouver, starting at Ecole Pauline Johnson School and running north up to the 14 hundred block.

Jann Arden is slated for February 11th at 3:17:36pm PST on Oak Street in Vancouver, starting at the Child and Family Research Institute Main Entrance and ending 300 metres later at Connaught Drive.

Michael Bublé will pick up the Torch run later that evening on Burrard Street, from the Visitor Info sign to Howe St on: Pacific Street at 7:51:25pm PST.

Times are approximate.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger carries the torch through Stanley Park the same day and one local wag suggests Allen could be called on to teach the former movie the actor the words to Canada’s national anthem in the event he is called on to sing ‘O Canada’ in passable English.

Too bad we say that Bruce Allen’s longstanding partner Sam Feldman is left out of  the Olympic relay. Feldman’s management company includes Diana Krall as a client and it would have been a wonderful sight to see Mrs. Elvis carrying the torch for us all.
