Boy, did we miss the obvious yesterday: CBC’s Li Robbins messaged FYI to tell us that NPR doesn’t have the exclusive on streaming Live in London, Leonard Cohen’s forthcoming album recorded at London’s 02 Arena last summer. In fact, Robbins informs, CBC Radio 2 has the ‘presents’ status on Lenny’s upcoming 11 city national tour next month, and led us to link here to listen and view concert performances included in the new album. We weren’t able to get the video porton, but the audio stream works perfectly. The concert included some of his most influential and best loved songs, including “Hallelujah,” “Bird On A Wire” and “Dance Me To The End Of Love.” The historic performance was recorded and will be released as a two-CD set on March 31.
