Gone Solo:Â “Yes, it’s official. I am no longer a Barenaked Lady. After twenty years (plus a few months), I’m heading out on my own. I’m really excited about all the opportunities coming my way: I have an album’s worth of songs and will be putting together a new solo album on top of the work I’m doing for this year’s Stratford Festival, and a studio recording I did with The Art of Time Ensemble, which will be released later this year with a tour to follow. His solo projects include a turn as composer for a production of English renaissance play Bartholomew Fair at the Stratford Festival later this summer. He’s also recently also performed with the Art of Time Ensemble and recorded a children’s album with his former bandmates.
